SeaCow Eatery has served Southern breakfast, lunch and dinner at 145 Jungle Rd since 1995, making it a long-standing fixture in the town of Edisto Beach at the south end of Edisto Island. Breakfast is what most people come for.

What to Order

Morning picks include the “Moo La La” French toast, pancakes, biscuits and gravy, John’s Omelet (six eggs) and the gravy-covered Moo Mania. Grits are the side to get. Later, look for the Reuben, po’boys, a crab cake sandwich, fried seafood platters and curry chicken salad. Save space for homemade Almond Joy pie.

The Setting

Mimosas are poured at breakfast in this cozy, family-friendly spot, which has indoor tables, a screened porch and a deck where pets are welcome. Portions are generous, prices are fair and the welcome has a small-town warmth.
